Our Story – Brew + Bake Preston

Where it all started

Founded in 2018 by a mother-daughter duo, Brew + Bake delivers something completely new to Preston. Our focus on sustainability, zero-waste, and seasonal produce is at the heart of everything we do, from our specialty coffee right through to our natural wines. Meeting every one of our local suppliers in person ensures that we can be confident in providing our customers with the best that the region has to offer.

Farm Yard Brew Co.

Farm Yard Brew Co. is a craft ale brewery based in the Lancashire countryside. From stouts to session IPAs, owner Steve Holmes brews a little bit of everything – and we love seeing each can’s unique design, which are created by local artists.

Ribble Farm

Ribble Farm Fare is a family-run business based in Longridge, Lancashire. Initially founded in 1964 by their father, David, brothers Roger and Richard now successfully run the business. We love their ethos, too: the team actively work to ensure that they reduce their carbon footprint through carefully considered procurement, production, and deliveries.

Hasbean Coffee

Our coffee supplier source their constantly evolving range of Hasbean blends from world-class producers who are single-handedly paving the way for ethical coffee production. Their beans are roasted every day at their Stafford roastery in the UK, and we can’t get enough of them.

Priest Town Brewing

Priest Town Brewing is a craft beer microbrewery in the heart of Preston who began selling their stock from the city’s Box Market in 2018. They have since built up a loyal customer base, and we’re proud to introduce our customers to them so they can become part of it!

Thistly Cross Cider

Thistly Cross are Scotland’s leading cider producer. Founded in 2008 by Peter Stuart, their small but passionate team have developed a range of award-winning Core Apple and Real Fruit ciders as well as their 6.2% Original Cider. Every product is made with locally crowd-sourced apples, which are hand-pressed on site.

Holme Farm Dairies

Holme Farm Dairies is a family-run business with over 30 years experience in the dairy industry. They have quickly become one of Lancashire’s leading processing and bottling dairy farms – but their milkmen deliver a lot more than just milk. We source our free-range eggs and yoghurt from the team here, too.

Banana King

Banana King are a small, family-run grocery store that offer a friendly service of locally-sourced fruit and vegetables from around the world. The business has been around for over 100 years, which is reflected in their quality produce.
